ABOUT JO GLASSER

Episcopal deacon and retired psychology instructor Jo Glasser writes meditations, articles and study guides to help people find a deeper relationship with God. Born and raised in western Canada, and educated there and in the U.S., Glasser has a broad professional background encompassing healthcare management and consulting; workshop and workgroup facilitation; leadership development and team building; and research and teaching. She holds master’s degrees in gerontology and business administration, and a doctorate in organizational psychology.

Glasser presently serves as Deacon of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Sparta, WI, and Archdeacon of the Diocese of Eau Claire. She is active in mission projects in Haiti and in developing and leading programs for lay and clergy spiritual formation.  Married to a retired physician, she has six grandchildren. She enjoys music, reading, needlework, gardening, and following the antics of her three cats.
